Corporate Sales Representative (CSR) - Waitsfield, VT

The Corporate Sales Representative (CSR) is a key member of the sales team and will have the responsibility of selling Small Dog Electronics solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in Vermont and New England. The CSR will be responsible for driving business and revenue growth through prospecting, development and signing of new customers. The CSR will develop business solution proposals, present and sell Small Dog Electronics solutions via telephone, online and customer meetings.

Self-motivated individual capable of generating and following up leads should apply for this customer facing position. Experience and expertise in guiding companies in switching from Windows to Macintosh platforms and/or integrating the two operating systems are essential for this position.

Responsiblities:

Identify and qualify opportunities within our territory. Manage sales to existing and new customers with the intent to create long term, mutually beneficial business relationships. Present the complete business solution via customer meetings, telephone, Internet and webinars. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required. Responsible for meeting or exceeding departmental goals for sales quarter with the assistance of other team members on the B2B team.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in Mac OS X environment.
  • Working knowledge of Apple applications (both business and consumer).
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills and ability to work independently and responsibly on assigned tasks.
  • Other desirable skills:

  • Business to business sales experience in computer technology.
  • A proven track record of sales success and extraordinary customer satisfaction.
  • Required Training

    Apple SEED training is required for all employees. Additionally, this position may require ( in time ) higher level certifications to better assist customers and clients. Training is self-paced and costs are covered by Small Dog.

    Essential Requirements and Responsiblilities:

  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to perform core functions of the position.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days to accommodate customer schedules.
  • Ability to represent the Company at business events, trade shows and at customer locations.
  • Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area, as well as varied customer home and business locations.
